Plenty of apps ask you to route rent through them and then wait two or three days for it to reach you. We don't. Your tenant pays your UPI ID or your bank account directly — the money never stops anywhere on the way.

Common questions

The things owners ask us first.

Do you hold my rent money?

No. Your tenant pays you — into your own UPI ID or bank account. RentNLease records the payment and sends the receipt. We are never in the middle of the money.

Do you take a percentage of the rent?

Never. You pay a subscription for the software. What your tenant pays you is entirely yours.

Does my tenant have to install an app?

No. Reminders, payment details and receipts reach them on WhatsApp. Most tenants never install anything.

Can my tenant use the receipts for HRA?

Yes. Receipts carry the details required for an HRA claim — owner name, PAN where applicable, apartment address, rent period and amount.

What about TDS on rent?

Where monthly rent crosses the statutory limit we flag it and keep the records in order. We don't file on your behalf — please confirm with your CA.

Which cities do you work in?

All of India. Rent collection, reminders and receipts don't change by state.
